Whether you are curious about multi-partner relationships or have been exploring and practicing ethical non-monogamy for years, this discussion-based class is for everyone who resonates with the idea of loving without limits. We will cover terms and jargon, different ways of practicing ethical non-monogamy, common missteps, and resources to help you along in your personal poly journey.

@Switchy_Woman729 has been exploring and practicing polyamory for over 2 decades, giving her plenty of time to make stumbles and fumbles along the way. She now pulls from that experience to help guide and advise others to, hopefully, avoid those same missteps. She discovered the kink community in November of 2019, and knew she had found her people. That enchanting journey inspired a drive to contribute and add to the growth of this community of wonderful weirdos. 

She began her role as an educator by finding herself taking over hosting duties at the monthly Poly Night educational discussion at @subSpace_Indy in February 2020, and has filled that role ever since. Along the way, she has also taught at IndyTies, Indy Rope Collective, @FEMSForever, @subSpace_Indy's FemDom education and play event Femme Fatale, Libertine (2021/2022/2023), Horns and Honey (2022), Knot-A-Contest (2022/2023), and Top Knot-ch (April 2023). She currently is a member of the @subSpace_Indy volunteer leadership team and an Ambassador and founding member of @FEMSForever - Indy.

11:00 AM Wax Play Safety 101 - Basement Pet Mats - Steve & Michele w. Too Hot to Handle Candles

Wax play is a great way to start the journey into kink. In our experience, it is one of the most universally liked kinks for those new to the lifestyle. Likewise, it is fun for more experienced kinksters as well. However, we have heard too many horror stories of people getting second and third degree burns because they either used the wrong wax/candle and/or they heated it improperly. This class will discuss the various types of wax available (and the differences between them), various ways to heat the wax and to wax your bottom, safety, wax removal, and cleanup. There will also be a discussion on negotiation and aftercare. This class is for both tops and bottoms as it’s just as important for both to learn safety regarding wax play.

Steve and Michele have been together as Master/slave for 27 years. We currently focus a lot of our efforts on education with the goal of providing those new to the lifestyle with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop in a safe environment. We started and grew Munch & Learns and Kink Nights for seven years at a local swingers club with a focus on bridging the gap between the Kink and Swinger lifestyles. We also teach wax play and do demos monthly at the Baltimore Playhouse’s Kink - First Contact events. We can’t even begin to remember all the play spaces that we have visited that have come and gone over the years.

Quilling has been around for ages but has become a lost art. Learn how to use porcupine quills for pain, pleasure, and possibly to make something pretty. The workshop will contain a little about WhipFather's life and experiences.  Basics practices of whip play and short history lesson.  Learn the parts that make up a whip and different types. Recommendations for setting the scene for mood and risk aware safety. A demonstration at the end.  Time for questions and answers and definitely fun. We will touch on History, Anatomy, Types, Settings, Safety, Aftercare and Caring for the whips.

Lexi has been exploring and enjoying the wonders of latex for over 20 years. She has always been a sensation-seeker, and when she stumbled upon the existence of latex clothing online (with her dial-up connection!) back in the late 90's, she knew she had to have some.
